Add the Barton Creek Country Club — with golf, tennis, spa, and dining — and the lifestyle case is complete.

The residential options span a wide range: gated luxury enclaves with custom estates, large-lot single-family homes adjacent to the greenbelt, and townhomes closer to the 360 corridor. The best addresses are those that have both the greenbelt access and the views — they rarely come to market.

For buyers coming from resort communities or mountain towns, Barton Creek often makes more sense than the denser Central Austin neighborhoods. The trade is urban walkability for space, nature, and the kind of quiet that requires a certain amount of insulation from the city.
